Initial reactions to the product are it is well made. I think it could have been better fabricated. The spacers supplied are made of steel and are not precise, but they work. The guard itself is steel and a little heavy for sticking out that far on the side of a machine. Installation was very simple and quick, maybe 15mins to install with all of the tools beside you. If I could make a change I would have it all fabricated out of Aluminum. Spacer and guard will eventually start to rust and then I will be doing more touch ups. Everything on bikes now are aluminum and this should follow suit. This is why I rated it 4 out of 5 stars - precision and material could be better.
