These level 1 protectors, in combination with Ghost knee/elbow protectors, replace some other, quite stiff and uncomfortable level 1 protectors for daily commuting, city rides and shorted casual riders. Light protection is much better than no protection. Perfect in combination with a motorcycle-jeans and a lightweight motorcycle jacket. Due to the super-flexible structure and the minimal weight, these protectors are not noticeable at all, even for my quite sensitive knees. Highly recommended from a comfort perspective. In regard to the safety perspective, I trust the level 1 certification and D3O's reputation.

V good

As described and of excellent materials, it is quite light and flexible, doesn’t give a perfect fit around body contour though, I don’t think I can trust it to protect at a high speed impact, it’s a true urban item.
