I needed to take a number up from regular shoes. Look up the Japanese size of your favorite shoes and match with the Japanese size of the Gaerne boots on their web site.
I love how the straps are adjustable so this very stiff boot can still feel comfy for my feet. Buy these in time to get used to the stiffness when riding.

Ich habe mich zwischen Sidi Crossfire 3 und Gaerne SG12 entschieden und meine Wahl fiel auf den Gaerne als meinen ersten richtigen Motocross Stiefel fürs Enduro Reisen. Die Stiefelgröße entspricht der angegebenen Größe und sie sind sind sehr bequem. Man hat fast das Gefühl der Stiefel schmiegt sich um Fuß und Bein. Der Stiefel ist grundsätzlich schnell angezogen. Die Schnallen sind qualitativ auf sehr hohem Niveau und lassen sich sehr leicht öffnen und schließen. Der Stiefel bietet enorm viel Schutz, ist aber dadurch auch sehr steif. Das Gänge Schalten ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und man muss auf jedenfall die Schalthebelstellung anpassen. Mit der Zeit werden die Stiefel aber wohl etwas weicher. Alles in Allem eine hervorragende Qualität bei sehr hohem Schutz. Wahrscheinlich ein langlebiges Produkt

Previously owned the SG10 and upgraded to the SG12's... WOW what a fantastic boot. Fits true to size, very comfortable out of the box and even better for MX riding. I race on tracks 1-2 x weekly and they are a really well constructed boot. HIGHLY recommend and will definitely buy them again.
