the upper binding was also cut and disappeared somewhere in the forest...as it seems, there are no spare parts, so the boots are for the trash

Returned and got the Sidi Adventure 2 instead
The clasp adjustment mechanism felt very cheap and would not tighten. As I closed the strap the "locking" mechanism would slip and loosen the strap. Not sure if I was just unlucky and got a bad QA item, but I would not trust these straps to hold in an accident. Ended up returning for the Sidi Adventure 2s which I assume these boots are modelled after. Quality difference is noticable and in my opinion worth the price.
As for fit, they do fit small like most boots, I wear 44.5 in shoes and 46 fit me well.

sehr gutes preis-leistungsverhältnis
zu beginn sehr stabiler stiefel mit mittelmässigem knöchelschutz. läuft sich bald (sehr) weich und dann fehlt leider die stabiltät im knöchelbereich.
bisher absolut wasserdicht auf 2 trips ACT kroatien u. ACT pyrenäen mit tiefen pfützen. bin natürlich nicht tauchen damit gegangen.

Stevige laarzen. Ze zijn niet geheel waterdicht merkte ik. Bij een rit was een beugel verdwenen. Maar een mailtje naar Daniel Kaiser en die loste dat heel mooi op. Nieuwe ontvangen en een reserve. Helemaal top. Ik kan de laars weer sluiten. 4 steren omdat er toch een beetje water was binnen gekomen. Al met al, blij met de aankoop en nog een maat groter gekocht voor de winterdagen. Voor die prijs kan dat prima.
