Spidi NK-6 H2Out Motorcycle Gloves

Für Winterhandschuhe relativ dünn, damit ist die Bedienung von Blinker etc. auch sehr angenehm. Allerdings muss ich für mich hier einen Stern abziehen, da ich nach 15 min Fahrt bei +4° bereits sehr kalte Finger habe. Das persönliche Kälteempfinden ist sicherlich unterschiedlich daher sind solche Handschuhe nur sehr subjektiv zu bewerten. Grunds#tzlich gesehen definitiv sehr angenehme Handschuhe.

I reviewed earlier on the sizing and had a chance to wear them in the rain yesterday. Not just rain, but two periods of heavy rain in a 5 hour ride. The second period of rain was really heavy. Torrential. I can report these are definitely waterproof! The best waterproof glove I have owned. Comfortable in 65 degree temperatures (18 Celsius) as well. If your hands get wet, it is due to a layering error or, in my case, failure in other gear. My left sleeve in my jacket membrane soaked, leaked onto my long-sleeve base layer and the base layer leaked into the left glove. Again, not the fault of the glove, it was my other gear. The right hand was (impressively) dry. I only gave this 5-stars, because 10-stars was not an available rating!

This rating is for fit purposes only since the cool weather isn’t here yet. I’ve owned plenty of gloves and I can tell this will be just fine for cool, maybe even cold (32 Fahrenheit / 0 Celsius) for shorter rides at freezing temperatures. I also have the Spidi Carbo Track Evo gloves and fit wise, the NK-6 glove are just a little longer in the fingers and thumb. Not long enough for me to go down a size but noticeably longer than the “just right” Carbo’s. I think a size smaller (M) would be too small and tight in the width. I typically wear a size 9 / large in gloves I’ve had before (BMW) and measure 23 cm across the knuckles and 25 cm across the widest part of my hand. I think the Spidi size chart is spot on, and I think this glove just simply runs a little long in the fingers and thumb. I’m looking for the cooler weather so I can start using them!

Size: I had Spidi STS-R gloves and also checked the sizing table so I ordered the same size. Perfect fit. Feeling: It was my first time using winter gloves so the hand controls were tricky compared to my regular gloves. Easy to move fingers around, just some loss of touch. Warmth: Rode at 5C for about 30mins. Slightly cold at my finger tips. I must say that the gloves were the most insulated equipment I had at that moment :)

Wenn man davon absieht, daß dickere Handschuhe grundsätzlich die Bedienung des Blinkers, o.ä. erschweren, ist dieser Handschuh top!
