The Tundra-X turns it into a versatile 3-in-1 system with outer pants, removable waterproof Sympatex® membrane pants, and separate thermal pants for changing conditions. When temperatures rise, thigh vents bring extra airflow to your legs. In cooler or wet weather, the membrane and thermal pants can be added as needed so you can adapt the setup to each leg of the ride. Individually adjustable waist width, length-adjustable suspenders, and lower-leg adjustment extending up to the knee help create a close, secure fit without unnecessary pressure or shifting over long distances. For the miles ahead, Hein Gericke uses a durable polyamide outer material designed for repeated wear. Removable, laboratory-tested SAS-TEC Level 2 knee protectors and Level 1 hip protectors provide impact protection at the knees and hips. Five easy-access outer pockets, two of them labeled “waterproof,” plus an anti-slip seat panel add the kind of practical functionality that proves its value on long tours. It reflects Hein Gericke’s long-standing approach to serious touring equipment: purposeful protection and adaptability.
