I've been reading a lot and did a lot of research to find the perfect jacket for my needs. I live in South Africa and drive an Africa Twin 1100 on and off road. Temps go down to 10-15C in winter and 30-35C in summer. So far, the jacket has been delivering on all aspects. It's material seems durable, you can easily remove the outer sleeve or get proper ventilation - it is basically awesome. I have also bought the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-1 CELLi Back Protector to go with. Very impressed. Size wise, I am 171 for 82kg and the M is PERFECT (which is my normal size). No need whatsoever for me to go up to L - it would have been way oversized. I hope that helps! Safe riding out there..! Cheers.

Hight 190 cm Weight 114 kg Chest 44 inch Waist 44 inch Size 3XL - EU60 Perfect fit Morning temperature 22C - humidity 15% Afternoon temperature 35C humidity 13% Use: highway in the city up to 120 km/h off-road - sand and rocky terrain Jacket looking great, material feels strong, after inserting back protector L2 - D30 perfect fit jacket is feeling little bit on heavy side. In the morning had to open back ventilation as started sweating. Off road had to open front ventilation. Sleeves still on because of dry wind which feels cold in low humidity. On the way back local roads no wind took sleeves down and temperature wise jacket is perfect. Love pocket stile, quick access to kangaroo front pocket, not important staff in side pockets and sun glasses in inner pocket. Elastic Belt is coming with jacket to keep it close to your body. What I Do Not like, back kangaroo pocket without at least Velcro system to keep it closed. I lost layer of skin because material touching you back side of neck is rough, Just top of the collar is made of soft material. I will have to wear some T-shirt or something around my neck to avoid same issue. Ideas - As anyway you have to stop to remove sleeves and open and close ventilation it could be good to add button to fix top of inner sleeve for outside layer and prevent pulling inner one on hand when you are sweating. Waterproof layer looks good and light. Could be worn inside and outside of jacket. However not sure that I will ever need it. Tech5 airbag fits perfectly but could be too hot. Also did not try it as was doing off-road and I did not want to test airbag sensors as anyway recommendation is not to use it for off-road. Summary! I love this jacket. I will visit tailor and add buttons, Velcro and something soft on collar and this jacket will become one jacket for all and my golden standard. I have at least twenty other jackets from top premium to low entry point but this one is all what I need. I am not sponsored, buying all by my hard earned money.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Alpinestars Halo Drystar jacket. I think it's the perfect 4 season jacket for me. With the front and rear panels folded in and the sleeves removed, it provides similar ventilation as a mesh jacket in warm weather. If it gets colder, the panels and sleeves go back on quickly. The included waterproof jacket can be worn inside for extra warmth or outside for rain protection. With our New Zealand climate that can change from summer to winter in a matter of hours, I really love that I can have all the options without having to carry a suitcase on the motorcycle! As a bonus, it works well with my In&Motion/Furygan airbag vest to provide extra core protection.

La calidad es excelente, muy funcional, cuesta inicialmente acostumbrase al cierre principal por quedar a un costado. la recomiendo. Se debería pedir una talla adicional a la habitual, me hicieron esa recomendación y tenían toda la razón.

I'm 175 cm tall, 91 kg and size L is just right. I have tried size M and it's good, better fit, but my elbow is in pain when I bend my arm. With L size you won't make a mistake, you will have a little bit more comfort when wearing. Negatives about this jacket is; forearm part of jacket is a little bit longer and the main zipper, in my opinion, should have longer strap for pulling. Because with gloves you can easily make a mistake and pull the front mesh opening.
