Excellent but not compatible

This product is excellent: the quality, the size, etc.. However, it is not compatible with the Oxford jacket I have, which is the "Oxford Route 73 2.0 MS Jacket Black" size L. The compartment aperture in the jacket is too small; this means you need to fold the backprotector a little in order to fit it in, even though it is explicitly said in the instructions of the back protector that you should not "fold, bend, curv or roll" it. Then, there is a problem with velcro. If I attach the velcro on the protector to the corresponding velcro inside the jacket compartment, then, the protector will be facing the wrong side. In practice, in order to use this back protector with a jacket of the same company, the protector will be inside the jacket but it will not be fixed by velcro. This turns out not to be a big problem because I don't feel the protector moving around. However, I always wonder whether the protector is placed correctly for protection or if it is too low inside the jacket. This is because, as it cannot be attached by velcro, it is unclear whether it is in the right place or not.

Good product

Very soft, thick, and a nice protector. Velcro looks quite strong. I thought it would be a good choice for my 2XL jacket, but I was wrong. The dimensions are 290x370 which is likely to fit well for S/M/L size jackets, probably, but not for 2XL. Otherwise, the product is good.

Good protector let down by Velcro attachment (vs. true pocket)

Back protector is only held in position by a strip of Velcro which is disappointing as it could come loose in an accident.
