Designed specifically for road racing, trackdays and performance-oriented riding, the FIM-homologated Tech-Air® 7x system is based on Alpinestars' proven MotoGP airbag technology. This fully autonomous and self-contained motorcycle airbag system has been designed specifically for racing and offers a slim, unobtrusive and highly ventilated Tech-Air® protection solution. The Tech-Air® 7x offers riders comprehensive protection for the upper body, including shoulders, chest and back. In addition, the integrated back protector has been extended to provide additional protection for the coccyx. The system can be worn on its own or in combination with a compatible suit or jacket. It is suitable for use on race tracks, road riding and light off-road riding. The state-of-the-art wearable Tech-Air® 7x system features an active electronic system with twelve integrated sensors: three triaxial accelerometers (one in the back protector, two on the shoulders) and a triaxial gyroscope (also in the back protector). These sensors continuously analyze the rider's movements and detect impacts or abrupt changes. Through years of research and collaboration with over 50% of the world's leading MotoGP riders, as well as millions of collected riding data, the intelligent crash detection algorithm has been continuously optimized. If the system detects an accident situation - when the body is exposed to a sudden or high amount of energy - the algorithm triggers airbag activation. The airbag inflates within a maximum of 44 milliseconds (depending on the airbag size) and offers the driver or front passenger unparalleled protection.

Compatibility:

• The Tech-Air® 7x is designed to be worn under any Alpinestars Tech-Air® Ready or Tech-Air® compatible leather suit or jacket. It can also be used under clothing from other manufacturers, provided that it offers 4 cm of space around the rider's chest. This additional space on the chest is necessary to allow the airbag to inflate in the event of a deployment. In addition, the leather suit should not be too tight in the crotch area so that it does not become uncomfortable in the event of a deployment. The Tech-Air® 7x is designed to be quickly and easily attached to Tech-Air® compatible racing suits or jackets to increase functionality and comfort
