Zo meet je jouw maat:

Lichaamslengte
Om je lichaamslengte precies te bepalen, ga je zonder schoenen op een vlakke ondergrond staan, bij voorkeur met je rug tegen een rechte muur. Zorg ervoor dat je hoofd, schouders en zitvlak lichtjes de muur raken. Gebruik een meetlint of een duimstok en meet vanaf het hoogste punt van je hoofd (schedel) loodrecht tot aan de zool van je voet. Een tweede persoon kan je helpen om het meetlint recht te houden en de exacte hoogte af te lezen.

Borstomtrek
Om je borstomtrek correct te meten, hou je het meetlint horizontaal rond je bovenlichaam op het breedste punt van je borst. Zorg ervoor dat het meetlint niet te strak zit en parallel met de vloer loopt. Adem normaal in en uit om ervoor te zorgen dat de maat realistisch is. Het kan handig zijn om de meting voor een spiegel uit te voeren of een tweede persoon om hulp te vragen.

Tailleomtrek
De tailleomtrek wordt gemeten op het smalste punt van je romp. Meestal is dat net boven je navel. Zorg ervoor dat je het meetlint horizontaal houdt en dat het strak aansluit, maar niet in je huid snijdt. Adem ontspannen en neem een natuurlijke houding aan voor een nauwkeurig resultaat.

Heupomtrek
Om je heupomtrek te meten, ga je rechtop staan en hou je het meetlint horizontaal rond het breedste deel van je heupen en zitvlak. Zorg ervoor dat het meetlint parallel met de vloer loopt en niet gedraaid is. Een tweede persoon of een spiegel kan helpen om nauwkeurig te meten.

Binnenbeenlengte
De binnenbeenlengte wordt gemeten langs de binnenkant van het been, vanaf het kruis tot aan de voetzool. Ga hiervoor rechtop staan, bij voorkeur op blote voeten. Vraag indien mogelijk een tweede persoon om je te helpen, zodat de meting nauwkeuriger is. Een handige manier is om een broek met een goede pasvorm te meten: Leg ze plat neer en meet de binnenbeenlengte vanaf het kruis tot aan de onderkant van de zoom.
