Brilliant jacket
The Leatt 5.5 jacket is really functional with tons of pockets and ventilation. I haven’t tested the durability, e.g. abrasion resistance, not that I will intent to do so any time soon.
Love the fact, you can put on a neck brace, a water reservoir and a pocket for rain coat with ease.
Size wise, I’m usually a EU48 177cm/70kg. I went for the medium. I can put on a base layer, body armour underneath the jacket without movement restrictions.

Bis ins Detail ausgetüftelt
Man merkt in jedem Detail, das die Designer wissen, was man als Enduro-Rider wünscht. Die vielen großen Taschen, in die auch ein iphone Plus passt, die aufwändige Integration eines Neck-Brace, die großen Lüftungsöffnungen, die große Bewegungsfreiheit, die vielfältigen Einstellmöglichkeiten, Stoffschutzelemente an den richtigen Stellen und nicht zuletzt die Optik und Verarbeitung. Es macht einfach Spaß zu entdecken, wie viel Überlegung in diese Details gesteckt wurden. Die Jacke ist nicht wirklich wasserdicht, aber es ist auch nicht so, dass man in wenigen Minuten die Nässe auf der Haut hätte. Abtransport von Schweiß und absolute Wasserdichtigkeit in die andere Richtung funktioniert nur sehr selten perfekt. Auf jeden Fall eine empfehlenswerte Jacke
