Sena SMH5 Communication System

The Sena SMH5 is a compact Bluetooth® communication system for motorcyclists, combining rider communication, music playback, and navigation instructions. The two-way Bluetooth intercom allows two riders to communicate over a range of up to 400 m (0.25 mi) in open terrain. Universal Intercom™ also enables communication with compatible Bluetooth communication systems from other manufacturers.

Bluetooth® 3.0 allows the SMH5 to connect to a smartphone, navigation device, or MP3 player. This enables hands-free phone calls, navigation instructions, and music playback. The music sharing function also allows music to be shared with a connected rider. Advanced Noise Control™ and wind noise reduction help reduce distracting background noise and support clear voice communication.

For straightforward operation, the SMH5 features a large jog dial and an easily accessible function button. Volume and device functions can therefore be controlled conveniently while riding. Volume levels can be set separately for different audio sources and are automatically adjusted in noisy environments. Multilingual voice prompts further simplify operation.

With up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 7 days of standby time, the SMH5 is suitable for both everyday riding and longer motorcycle tours.
