It does what it is intended for

Mkaes it easy to use same BT helmet phone on different helmets. When using different types of bikes, it's good to have a helmet suited for the driving type in question, e.g. Shoei Adv with adventure bike and Shoei Neotec with touring bike. Felt unnecessary to pay for an additional Sena 10s BT phone.
