A Coat Hanger™ that is developed to carry the weight of a motorcycle jacket is fitted at the back. Zip Grip™, a reinforcement at the bottom of the main zip, makes zipping up easier. Level 2 R.I.S.C.™ protectors on the shoulders and elbows ensure a high level of safety with this AA protection class jacket. Ich fahre die Kombination Jacke/Hose nun seit ca 16,000 km. Dabei habe ich alle Temperaturbereiche (von Schnee in den Alpen bis zu 35 Grad Sommerhitze in Kanada) mitgemacht. Die Jacke hält alles, was in der Beschreibung versprochen wird. Tatsächlich kann man die Innenjacke alleine verwenden, wenn man abends ausgehen möchte. Aber auch die Hardshell kann prima als gewöhnliche Regenjacke verwendet werden. Dadurch spare ich zwei weitere Jacken Reisegepäck ein. Das Angebot an Taschen ist mehr als ausreichend. Leichtgehende, kräftige Reißverschlüsse machen es einem leicht. Die Reißverschlüsse zur Befestigung der Innenjacke/hose sind super, wesentlich besser als das umständliche Hantieren mit den Schlaufen bei meinen anderen Kombis. Die Was besonders gefällt: das Überziehen der Hardshell geht fix, wenn man plötzlich in Regen gerät. Die Packsäcke sind praktisch, um entweder die Hardshells oder die Innenjacke/hose zu verstauen. Alles sehr durchdacht, das Ganze.

Nachdem eines der Vorgängermodelle nach über 15 Jahren ersetzt werden musste, habe ich gezielt danach gesucht. Als Motorradreisender bin ich großer Fan des 3 Jacken Konzept von Macna, mit der wasserdichten Aussenjacke. Für mich ist das größte Plus, gegenüber den anderen Konstruktionen, dass das Wasser ganz außen bleibt und nicht die Jacke bis zur Membran absäuft, was zum Abkühlen führt. Ich bin 182/ 92kg und mir passt die XXL sehr gut, mit genügend Bewegungsfreiheit. Die neue Jacke punktet mit zahlreichen nützlichen Details . Thermojacke mit langen Armen und Bündchen mit Reißverschluss zum Verbinden, Thermojacke einzeln zum Schließen mit Überlappung, oder zum Verbinden mit der Mitteljacke. Verbindungselemente für die Verbindung von Mittel- und Außenjacke. Zahlreiche Lüftungsmöglichkeiten und jede Menge Taschen. In 2 Tagen geht es auf die Reise und danach kann ich noch den Praxistest beifügen.
