The SHIMA Aviator is a classic style motorcycle glove with a vintage twist and crafted from soft goatskin leather. The construction with elasticated panels and pre-curved fingers brings functionality and comfort. A main knuckle pad and ArmorPlus impact absorbers on the fingers and back palm ensure superior protection as well as reinforcement panels and extra leather on the side. The Aviator also features a laser embossed grip patch, micro-velcro strap fastening and a loop for easily pulling it on. Large perforated areas increase airflow. The index finger and thumb with TouchTip™ inserts allow you to operate your smartphone without having to remove the glove.

I've always had a good experience with Shima gear, but these gloves were a big disappointment. After the first ride in the rain, the leather showed signs of wear, and by 2,000 km the stitching started coming apart and threads were coming loose. The velcro straps are also wearing out quickly. I expected better durability from a brand I trust.

Kurze Haltbarkeit
Die Handschuhe passen perfekt, sehen super aus, aber sie nutzen sich leider sehr schnell ab. Nach knapp einem Jahr sind die Klettverschlüsse am Handgelenk komplett ausgefranst, das Klett hält also nicht mehr wirklich und der Handschuhe sitzt recht lose. Im Sturzfall würde ich nicht mehr darauf vertrauen, dass er sicher an der Hand bleibt.

El guante es precioso, aún más bonito que en las fotos. En cuanto los usas un par de días y el cuero se vuelve más bandido, el guante se vuelve tremendamente cómodo. Probado en días de calor y ventila muy bien

Pretty decent summer gloves
The gloves are comfy, not that hot even in the warmer temperatures (probably too cold for weather below 10 centigrades) but with only a month of use the outer layer is peeling a bit so I'm not sure about longevity.
