motogadget mo.Blaze ICE, E-approved
Cool as Ice! The mo.Blaze ICE is the brand new LED turn signal from motogadget.
A well known part has been completely redesigned, fascinatingly designed and technically sophisticated.
The mo.Blaze ICE appears very neutral and inconspicuous due to the transparent glass body, which is made of a scratch resistant plastic. The small aluminium base made of billet aluminium is available in black anodised or polished finish. The turn signal fits all styles, paintwork and all kinds of motorcycles.
The TranzLight-Technology (TLT, patent pending) from motogadget turns the transparent body of the flasher itself into a light medium. TranzLight-Technology cleverly uses the total reflection of light waves. This progressive development approach is not limited to simple miniaturization of turn signal housings but creates the light directly over a crystal-like glass body. Only precise optical CAD calculation and the most modern manufacturing processes make this new design and its function possible.
The light flux required for the TranzLight principle is generated by the intensiLED process developed by motogadget and consists of three important columns:
- Specially selected, phosophore converted high power LED with highest efficiency and a total power of 3W at a lifetime of more than 50.000 h
- a 330kHz clocked, IC controlled constant current source
- a special collimator optic, which precisely couples the wide scattering light of the LED into the glass body.
An important aspect of the TranzLight technology is the increased safety due to the improved visibility of the flashing signal. The light is emitted at an angle of almost 180° and is therefore visible from the front, rear and side. A flexible absorber mechanically decouples the indicator from the mounting thread and protects it from vibration and mechanical influences.
The mounting flasher mo.Blaze ICE presented here has an E-sign and is approved as front and rear flasher.
