Knox Tor Protector Jacket

The Knox Tor Protector Jacket offers the perfect blend of protection, flexibility, and storage, specifically designed for adventure riding. It is robust, lightweight, and features super-light, high-strength fabric with two-tone In-Motion mesh. Five external zippered pockets provide ample space, with the two chest pockets containing internal clips and organizers. Reflective zippers and piping enhance nighttime visibility, while the new stud closure at the cuffs adds extra comfort. An included ultra-light rain cover with a 10K water column rating keeps you dry and can be compactly stored. Knox's safety belt loops allow easy attachment of the jacket to your pants.

Grundsätzlich ok

Ich habe einige Knox Produkte und bin meistens zufrieden mit Verarbeitung, Qualität und Preis/Leistung. Diese neuere Jacke ist aber "nur" eine 3+ von der Qualität. Die Protoektoren an sich sind, sorry, mindere Qualität. Ein gut sortierter Motorradfahrer hat aber einiges da und so habe ich die Protektoren an Schulter und Ellenbogen gegen welche von D3O und Rev'it getauscht. Für mich ist das entscheidende Argument die gute Passform (100 kg, 1,80, Wampe und breite Schultern-> XXL). Die Außentaschen sind ebenfalls super praktisch. Der Rückenprotektor ist schön groß und LVL2 und auch wenn mir die Quali nicht geäfllt tut er sicher seinen Dienst. Kein unangenehmer Gerucht, sehr gute sonsteige Verarbeitung an Nähten und Säumen. Die Handsaum-Schlaufe ist ne Katastroße, was hat sich Knox dabei nur gedacht. Aber ich komme damit klar. Mir gefällt die sehr gute Durchlüftung und das angenehme Tragegefühl. Preis ist etwas zu hoch. Für 100€ weniger wäre ich super zufrieden. Ein- oder zwei Saisons werde ich das Ding auf jeden Fall tragen.

Excellent

I find the Tor Protector better than the Urbane Pro Mk III that I purchased last year. While the protection levels are the same, and I have no specific complaints with the Urbane Pro, the Tor is slightly more loose fitting with more pockets. The additional waterproof shell is a very helpful addition, The fact that it is available in a light colour is an advantage if one lives in a hot country. Where I live, temperatures over the Summer often hover around the 40 degree (C) range and light coloured clothing is a blessing. The quality, as with all Knox items I have purchased, is excellent. A slightly irrelevant additional bonus is the well-crafted wooden clothes hanger that comes with the jacket.
