Now Arai engineers want a cool old-school look that suits your style and bikes. But they want coolness with modern Arai performance. The rugged simplicity of Concept-X is the product of imagination. But don't draw the wrong conclusions. The retro style may catch the eye, but it still had to pass Arai's stringent internal tests. As a result, beneath the aggressive look is a strong, lightweight PB e-cLc shell with a smooth, rounded shape, reinforced with Arai's proprietary peripheral belt to glide over surfaces and bounce off obstacles. The VAS-VC visor system, with its mechanical retro look, further enhances vision performance by lowering the visor pivot point to maximize a smooth top shell. Although it is reminiscent of the past, the Concept-X is, to a large extent, a helmet of the present. Ready for a generation of modern riders who demand a new, old style - but with the performance and comfort that only an Arai helmet can provide.

Below Average quality
Nearly 2 months with this helmet and I can tell you that it is of below average quality.
1. Paint finish is so delicate that it gets scratched with minor bumps or hits;
2. Ventilates very well and to much. Hard to open the vent on the visor. And they seem to be fragile that I don't want to touch them, to avoid breaking them.
NOTE: Winter time is going to be tough with temperatures below 10C degrees ;
3. Installed my intercom and putting back the cushions was not easy. And still now, they aren't perfectly in place.
To sum up, extremely delicate paint and ventilates to much. Quality and price get 3 stars.

Confortable, but expected more
The helmet looks great and its very confortable.
BUT it´s imposible to block all airflow, so isn´t good in winter
BUT when it is raining, the water enter thru the top part of the visor and block visibility (worst if you have the pinlock on)
BUT after a few months of usage, the scraps made in the front of the helmet by the visor when you open or close the visor are very noticeable and it seems like an old an and beat up.
BUT (and expected because ARAI) there is no confortable way to install an intercom, so if you manage to install one, the helmet going to be uncofortable (tested with cardo freecom x4)
BUT the interiors aren´t as well designed as other brands (compared with x-lite x803, HJC RPHA 11) they are confortable, but hard to remove and wash (again, compared with other top level helmets)
