A triple-layer knee dramatically improves durability. And burn guards on the inner knee give you addition strength and grip. Other carefully considered details include a silicone inner waist lining to keep the jersey tucked, mesh lower legs to improve comfort in the boot and a ratchet closure to dial in the fit.
