The S3 marks the next step of Schuberth's sport touring helmet collection and is the first Schuberth full-face helmet meeting the new ECE 22.06 homologation. This includes a new fibreglass shell with patented Direct Fibre technology, reinforced with carbon to improve shock absorption and reduce weight. The S3 is the perfect combination of the performance and safety of a racing helmet and the comfort of a touring helmet. At the same time, the new S3 incorporates all the high Schuberth standards in terms of safety, aerodynamics and aeroacoustics performance. Like the entire Schuberth collection, the S3 benefits from the Anti-Roll-Off System, which, in combination with a new positioning of the chin strap, provides improved comfort in the neck area. Schuberth also introduces the S.R.S (Schuberth Rescue System) with the S3. Thanks to this system, the cheek pads can be removed by rescue services, reducing the forces on the neck and making it easier to remove the helmet. The S3 has an integrated and adjustable sun visor and an improved field of vision thanks to the patented V-Lock mechanism. The inner lining sets new standards in comfort. The standard head padding has been designed to provide uncompromising comfort for all customers.

How to measure your height:

1 Body height

To determine your exact height, stand on a flat surface without shoes, preferably with your back against a straight wall. Ensure that your head, shoulders and bottom are lightly touching the wall. Use a tape measure or folding rule and measure vertically from the highest point of your head (crown) to the sole of your foot. A second person can help you hold the tape measure straight and read the exact height.

2 Chest circumference

To measure your chest size correctly, place the measuring tape horizontally around your upper body at the fullest part of your chest. Ensure that the tape measure is not too tight and runs parallel to the floor. Breathe in and out normally to obtain a realistic measurement. It may be helpful to take the measurement in front of a mirror or ask a second person for assistance.

3 Waist circumference

The waist circumference is measured at the narrowest point of your torso – usually just above the navel. Ensure that the tape measure is horizontal and fits snugly, but does not cut into the skin. Breathe calmly and maintain a natural posture to obtain an accurate result.

4 Hip circumference

To measure your hip circumference, stand upright and wrap the tape measure horizontally around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Ensure that the tape measure is flat and parallel to the floor. A second person or a mirror can help to take an accurate measurement.

5 Inside leg length

The inside leg length is measured along the inside of the leg from the crotch to the sole of the foot. Stand up straight, preferably barefoot. If possible, ask someone else to help you to obtain a more accurate measurement. A practical method is to measure a pair of trousers that fit well: Lay them flat and measure the inside leg length from the crotch to the bottom hem.
