The Outlast temperature control is able to keep the body temperature at high temperature fluctuations and different body activities not too warm, not too cold - but just right.
With the new material for transporting sweat outwards, Outlast also works in active sports use.
When the temperature rises in the microclimate, the PCMs change their state of aggregation, become liquid, absorb excess heat and store it. Not too warm, just right. PCM = paraffins filled microcapsules.
When the temperature drops, the PCMs change their state of aggregation, become crystalline and release the stored heat. The thermal equilibrium in the microclimate is balanced and the temperature difference compensated.

Excellent all year round base layer.
A perfect base layer that I use all year round here in southern Germany even though it’s not a winter rated layer. I use it for daily commuting and for day tours in and around the Black Forest region. As it’s a Rokker product you won’t be disappointed.
