Inspired by research and development work with the brand's MotoGP riders, IXON reinvents the link between protection and comfort. With a product that can be used in all environments, you can push your limits everywhere: Thanks to its 3 crash detection modes, the IX-AIRBAG U05 is suitable for road, racing and adventure use.

Features:

• The airbag is equipped with AIRFLOW CHANNEL technology: a unique and advanced ventilation system that ensures maximum cooling of the body. The airflow is channeled through 3D mesh channels in the back and chest area of the liner inside the airbag
• The technology was developed in competition, directly with the IXON MotoGP riders: Aleix Espargaro, Brad Binder, Miguel Oliveira, and Takaaki Nakagami
• The choice of outer materials also promotes ventilation: hard mesh on the front and back, ultra-elastic mesh on the sides. The IX-AIRBAG U05 is therefore 100% ventilated
• An ultralight airbag designed for unparalleled freedom of movement and comfort
• The choice of ultra-light materials for the interior and exterior allows for an airbag with minimal weight. The design has been carefully developed so as not to restrict freedom of movement and to ensure a perfect riding experience. The cut is very close to the body, avoiding the feeling of bulkiness and making the airbag disappear into oblivion
• The airbag comes with a special IX-CONNECT kit that allows seamless integration of the airbag into a suit
• 3 fall detection modes are integrated into the In&box electronic unit developed by In&motion: The airbag is suitable for road, racing and adventure use. Switching between modes is done with a single click via the My In&box mobile app
• meets the requirements of numerous national and international associations, including the FIM, and can therefore be used in races on the racetrack, including MotoGP and JuniorGP
• In combination with the chest protector and the Modus Racing Pack, the vest is also approved for motocross competitions

Specifications:

• Class C protective clothing for motorcyclists (EN 17092-6:2020)
• Back protector made of expanded foam, 15% lighter than the back protection of the IX-AIRBAG U03, EN 1621-2:2014, type FB level 1
• In the event of a fall, the airbag becomes operational and effective in just approx. 0.055 seconds, i.e. well before the first impact: 0.033 seconds for detection and 0.022 seconds for inflation
• Inertial unit consisting of 6 sensors (3 accelerometers and 3 gyroscopes) that measure the rider's movements in real time: over 1,000 analyses are performed every second
• Inflatable cushion covering 5 protection zones to protect important areas of the upper body: Neck, back, shoulders, chest and ribs
• Next generation inflatable cushion made of OPW material: up to 5 inflations before the factory check, which is 2 more than the IX-AIRBAG U03
• Deflation: the function of the inflatable cushion has been optimized to improve protection in the event of a fall and secondary accidents and to manage post-fall situations
• Autonomy during the ride: 30 hours
• Recharging time for the In&Box electronic unit: 2 hours

Optional Racing Pack (not included):

• Enhanced riding experience on the race track with the optional Racing Pack: these are special chest protectors for the IX-AIRBAG U05, which are fitted over the airbag and provide additional protection for the upper body.
• Chest protector pockets made of hard mesh and ST4 ripstop with laser perforation.
• These pockets contain SAS-TEC SC-1/CP7 chest protectors, EN 1621-3:2018, type B and level 1

Optional Adventure Pack (not included):

• Expand your off-road experience with the optional Adventure Pack: this is a hydration system that only connects to the IX-AIRBAG U05 and allows you to drink plenty of fluids while riding
• Hydration bag made of hard mesh and ST4 ripstop with laser perforation
• The hydration bag, which is inserted into the hydration pack, is not included: The Adventure Pack can hold a 1.5L or 2L water bag. The Adventure Pack contains 2 mesh inner pockets to securely hold the optional water bag, elastic straps on the upper straps guide and hold the tube of the optional water bag

• The In&box is not included in the scope of delivery and is sent separately. For full functionality of the vest, the In&box must be activated by an In&motion membership

Track mode:

• Do you drive on the racetrack? In&motion technology supports you here too! Make sure your jacket or station wagon is compatible with the system and activate track mode via the mobile app before you start.
• A credit card is required for this option

Road ride mode:

• 8€ / month or 25€ / year
• Road Ride mode is intended for use on roads that are developed for vehicle traffic (i.e. with a suitable road surface).
• Attention: This mode has not been developed for other types of driving on circuits or off-road

Adventure mode:

• 8€ / month or 25€ / year
• Based on our experience at the Dakar Rally, the Adventure mode was developed for off-road driving: Trail, recreational enduro and off-road rally.
• Attention: This mode is not intended for any other riding style: motocross, hard enduro, trial, freestyle, flat-track

Motocross mode:

• 8€ / month or 25€ / year
• MX mode was developed based on data and feedback from top MX racers and is designed for use on closed circuits with jumps, bumps, different surfaces and high speeds, taking into account situations that do not require air pressure

Adventure Race mode:

• 8€ / month or 25€ / year
• The Adventure Race mode is intended for intensive sports practice and is aimed at experienced and advanced rally and enduro riders who are used to this type of training and do not want to be prepared for all types of crashes
