Icon Stormhawk WP Motorcycle Textile Jacket

The Stormhawk™ jacket is our latest foray into the weatherproof riding category. The low-key exterior is a durable 4-way stretch textile, backed with a waterproof/breathable Hycor membrane – perfect for three-season riding. Internally the jacket is reinforced with 600d polyester fabric for improved abrasion resistance. The Stormhawk™ comes standard with D3O® CE-Certified LP1 shoulder and elbow impact protectors. The LP1 protectors are more breathable and flexible than previous generations of impact protectors, improving the jacket's overall comfort. The jacket also includes a D3O® Viper back impact protector and fulllength insulated liner for colder weather riding. Should your ride include more temperate locations, the large exterior front & back vents, sealed with YKK® Aquagard™ zippers, provide significant airflow. The Stormhawk™ Jacket can be worn individually or zipped directly to the Stormhawk™ Pant.

Minus Sterne gibts leider nicht.

Habe mir die Jacke gekauft als sie noch frisch auf dem Markt war. Im Grunde genommen ist es eine Plastikmembran mit ein paar Reißverschlüssen. Die Belüftung ist unter aller Kanone, quasi nicht vorhanden. Wenn ich diese mit einer Jacke zB. der Halo von Alpinestars Vergleiche, liegen da zwar keine signifikanten Preisunterschiede vor, dafúr liegen zwischen den Qualitäten aber Welten. Als sich dann die aufgeklebte Tasche fúr den Rückenprotektor einfach abgelöst hat und ich mich fragen musste, wie mich diese Mülltüte in einem Crash überhaupt schützen soll, habe ich mir eine Alpinestars Jacke gekauft. Jetzt fühle ich mich wie ein Multifunktionspanzer. Meine Empfehlung, besser nicht kaufen (:

I have over 200.000 km expirience on bike, and ride a jacket and pants one and half hour at extremly rain on highway and its done that job perfect. I prefered functional cloth under the jacket and pants, and over that termo or similar cloth for cold weather under 10 celsius. The medium size is to small for me (172 cm, 83 kg) when I take that clothes in cold weather under the jacket or with termoliner. I change for L (52-56) its ok, and not too big. My expirience ride until now is in temperatures 5 to 10 celsius to 20 celsius. For me, most important is take quality underwear under jacket and that is no sweating at cold and mild temperatures. The elbow protectors is to low, and it should be better if that be possible fix it higher, but ok .... The zippers are small but in function, strech material is very comfortable. Pants are without thermoliner, don't understand why !?
