An airbag jacket for all year round. By controlling the air circulation the pilot can easily adapt to the riding season.

Activation:

• It is released via a rip cord that is firmly connected to the vehicle and is plugged into the vest when getting on and off. Inadvertent triggering by forgetting to release the pull cord when getting off the vehicle is very unlikely, as a force of 300 Nm (30 kg) is required to operate the airbag.
• When triggered, the system has the optimum pressure after 100 milliseconds to develop the full protective effect. This period of time was determined on the basis of Helite's many years of experience and numerous calculations and tests in order to provide the optimal pressure to protect the body precisely at the time of the impact. Important parts of the body are protected as early as the release process, if full pressure has not yet been reached.

• In addition to the airbag system, the jacket has a high-quality SAS-TEC back protector and KNOX protectors on the shoulders and elbows, which can optionally be removed. Like all helite jackets with an airbag system, the touring jacket has the innovative Turtle system.
