Destination Layer jacket is a Dainese midlayer made of Polartec® Power Air™ and designed for maximum comfort on your motorcycle tours - no matter what the weather or terrain. The Destination Layer Jacket is worn as a midlayer under your motorcycle jacket and is extremely comfortable even after you get off the bike. Maximum comfort, softness and versatility to accompany you on any adventure. The garment is windproof and has two practical pockets on the sides. Polartec® Power Air™ is a revolutionary knit fabric that encapsulates micro air pockets. Thanks to Polartec® Power Air™ technology, the Dainese Destination Layer can maintain an optimal body temperature, in addition to significantly reducing the loss of microfibers over time. A construction designed to maximize thermal efficiency and reduce fiber migration into the environment by up to five times compared to other premium midlayers, resulting in improved durability and reduced environmental impact. The Destination Layer Jacket complements the jackets in Dainese's Adventure Touring collection and is compatible with all Dainese Touring jackets.

How to measure your height:

1 Body height

To determine your exact height, stand on a flat surface without shoes, preferably with your back against a straight wall. Ensure that your head, shoulders and bottom are lightly touching the wall. Use a tape measure or folding rule and measure vertically from the highest point of your head (crown) to the sole of your foot. A second person can help you hold the tape measure straight and read the exact height.

2 Chest circumference

To measure your chest size correctly, place the measuring tape horizontally around your upper body at the fullest part of your chest. Ensure that the tape measure is not too tight and runs parallel to the floor. Breathe in and out normally to obtain a realistic measurement. It may be helpful to take the measurement in front of a mirror or ask a second person for assistance.

3 Waist circumference

The waist circumference is measured at the narrowest point of your torso – usually just above the navel. Ensure that the tape measure is horizontal and fits snugly, but does not cut into the skin. Breathe calmly and maintain a natural posture to obtain an accurate result.

4 Hip circumference

To measure your hip circumference, stand upright and wrap the tape measure horizontally around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Ensure that the tape measure is flat and parallel to the floor. A second person or a mirror can help to take an accurate measurement.

5 Inside leg length

The inside leg length is measured along the inside of the leg from the crotch to the sole of the foot. Stand up straight, preferably barefoot. If possible, ask someone else to help you to obtain a more accurate measurement. A practical method is to measure a pair of trousers that fit well: Lay them flat and measure the inside leg length from the crotch to the bottom hem.

dünn aber dennoch warm

Im Gegensatz zu vermeintlich winddichter Unterwäsche hält diese Jacke tatsächlich den Wind ab und verhindert dadurch das Unterkühlen im Brustbereich. Dabei ist die Jacke so dünn, dass man sie selbst mit leichtem Bauchansatz noch mit in die Motorradhose stecken kann. Ich bin mit Unterziehrollkragenpullover aus Baumwolle, in dieser Jacke und einer Motorradlederjacke darüber bei 6 °C 3 Stunden über Land gefahren und habe nicht gefroren.

Wie immer von Dainese sehr wertig und funktionell.

Die Jacke ist wie beschrieben als midlayer sehr funktionell und erfüllt alle Anforderungen so wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe. Top !

Very comfortable and warm

The jacket is a bit thin but it’s warm I can wear my leather jacket on top and doesn’t bother me at all and it’s a nice looking jacket to wear casually.

Solid but Bulky

Its solid, hi-tech layer that keeps you warm. But its bulky layer. Cannot wear under sports jackets. Maybe suitable for adventure & touring jackets or one size bigger sports jackets.
