With evolved front and rear accordion flex inserts, the SMX-6 V2 GORE-TEX® is a waterproof and breathable performance boot for track and street. Anatomically profiled and packed with innovative features, this boot incorporates the latest in footwear design and development with every component carefully chosen for a crucial performance edge and keep you on the track for longer.

  • Newly designed boot upper incorporates innovative front, rear bellow and rear calf zones for superior levels of flexibility.
  • Main upper material constructed from advanced microfiber for durability and abrasion resistance, plus a waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX® liner for excellent all-weather performance.
  • Ergonomic new last for forefoot streamlining to enable greater control of the bike’s controls and for superior, wide-ranging foot profile, fit and comfort.  
  • Alpinestars’ innovative TPU lateral ankle brace protection provides a biomechanical support between lateral top calf/shin and ankle and offers improved structural integrity, protection against impact shocks, repeated abrasion resistance and flex support.  
  • Alpinestars’ new and exclusive compound rubber sole promotes improved feel and grip, water dispersion and durability.
  • Air vents on the heel counter and shin plate improves cooling comfort on short and long rides.

Tolle Stiefel

Bin mit den Stiefeln sehr zufrieden. Gute Passform, sehr bequem, leicht. In Nässe bislang auch alles trocken geblieben, war allerdings auch noch kein richtig starker Regen. Dafür natürlich auf Dauer etwas wärmer als ohne Membran. Im Vergleich zu den Faster 3 muss ich sagen, dass ich die SMX lieber trage und sie bequemer finde. Lediglich das Schaltgefühl der Faster 3 finde ich etwas besser, da die am Spann etwas steifer sind. Alles in allem aber super zufrieden nach ca. 1200km.

sehr gut

Passform perfekt, habe Schuhgröße 42 und auch so bestellt. Sitzt fast wie ein Turnschuh. Sehr gutes Gefühl auf den Rasten. Wasserdichtigkeit im Regen noch nicht getestet, mit Funktionssocken im Sommer kein Schwitzgefühl. Auf dem Läufer des Reißverschlusses ist ein Klett angebracht, der meiner Ansicht nach das An- und Ausziehen unnötig erschwert.

Nice quality boots

Quality and gore-tex membrane are superb. Tested so far in one quite heavy rain – no issues. Sizing is pretty accurate too, I normally wear size EU44 and AS's size 44 fits me well. They're quite comfy for walking in shops, for a walk in the forest I don't recommend. The sole has a lot of grip, though the traction on wet surfaces is yet to be tested. On the bike they can deal with temperatures +8 +30C, when walking the upper limit is more like +24C, above that even goretex doesn't cope and feet become very hot and wet. On the downside is the huge screaming AS logo on the shin and if that's not enough, there's a second one at the heel. I very much dislike such things, but these were the only boots, that satisfied the rest of my criteria. To sum up, I'm very satisfied with this product.

Passt perfekt

Der Einstieg ist optimal für Menschen die einen hohen Rist haben. Der Stiefel ist bislang dicht, aber ich bin nur einmal im Regen für eine Stunde gefahren.

Sehr durchdachtes Produkt

Die Alpinestars SMX-6 haben eine außergewöhnlich gute Passform, alles sitzt an der richtigen Stelle und die Schutzfunktionen wirken sehr wertig. Da ich beide Vorgänger auch fuhr, sind die sukzessiven Verbesserungen aller Merkmale genau zu spüren. Das Schaltgefühl auf meinen Motorrädern ist zudem optimal. Ich bin äußerst zufrieden! Dass es keine "Zehenschleifer" mehr gibt, stört mich nicht, da ich keine Rennstrecken befahre.
