Alpinestars Luc V2 Air Motorcycle Textile Jacket

The Luc v2 Air Jacket is a ‘Bomber style’ jacket that incorporates extensive strategically-positioned full body air intakes for excellent cooling performance. The jacket features an elongated rear profile which offers coverage and comfort in a more upright position, and utilizes a modern material mix for maximum performance. The Luc v2 Air Jacket has an engineered ergonomic fit and is Tech-Air® ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System.

How to measure your height:

1 Body height

To determine your exact height, stand on a flat surface without shoes, preferably with your back against a straight wall. Ensure that your head, shoulders and bottom are lightly touching the wall. Use a tape measure or folding rule and measure vertically from the highest point of your head (crown) to the sole of your foot. A second person can help you hold the tape measure straight and read the exact height.

2 Chest circumference

To measure your chest size correctly, place the measuring tape horizontally around your upper body at the fullest part of your chest. Ensure that the tape measure is not too tight and runs parallel to the floor. Breathe in and out normally to obtain a realistic measurement. It may be helpful to take the measurement in front of a mirror or ask a second person for assistance.

3 Waist circumference

The waist circumference is measured at the narrowest point of your torso – usually just above the navel. Ensure that the tape measure is horizontal and fits snugly, but does not cut into the skin. Breathe calmly and maintain a natural posture to obtain an accurate result.

4 Hip circumference

To measure your hip circumference, stand upright and wrap the tape measure horizontally around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Ensure that the tape measure is flat and parallel to the floor. A second person or a mirror can help to take an accurate measurement.

5 Inside leg length

The inside leg length is measured along the inside of the leg from the crotch to the sole of the foot. Stand up straight, preferably barefoot. If possible, ask someone else to help you to obtain a more accurate measurement. A practical method is to measure a pair of trousers that fit well: Lay them flat and measure the inside leg length from the crotch to the bottom hem.

Pour le style et la ventilation

J'adore le style décontracté, pas typé motard et que se porte facilement en ville. Idéal pour aller au bureau ou à un rendez-vous sans avoir l'air d'un loubard :-) La ventilation est efficace, même avec la dorsale A* de niveau 2 (qui n'est pas livrée avec la veste). Taille et poignets simples à ajuster par velcro.

Fits well

Protectors are very thin and soft and fit well on the body, NIcely made jacket. In the photo, it looks like a dry concrete color, but it is actually a wet concrete color.

Feels good and true to sizing

Very good for summer, weight is good too. Very comfortable, however the inner lining is not stitched down, requires some adjustment every time you wear the jacket. Should get size up when you are in between, if not the stretch of the arms is quite awkward. 175cm 82kg - XL, with comfortable room for movement and extra clothes. Length of arms is just right too.
