The Racing Absolute v2 is a top-of-the-line professional racing suit that incorporates the same lightweight, advanced materials and technologies worn by the fastest MotoGP and WorldSBK riders on the track. In addition to full kangaroo leather construction with double layers of kangaroo leather in the most abrasion-prone areas such as the elbows, forearms, buttocks, hips and back, the Racing Absolute v2 also features Kevlar®-reinforced stretch panels in the crotch, inner arms and underarms. The bonded Kevlar® mesh provides increased cut, tear and abrasion resistance, as well as greatly reduced heat transfer to the rider's body from friction when sliding on the asphalt. Another important advance in material technology in the Racing Absolute v2 is the use of Alpinestars Composite Stretch Technology, A-CS®Tech. A-CS®Tech is integrated throughout the suit on the sides of the torso, shoulder blades and upper knee area, replacing the original pleated leather inserts. The A-CS®Tech material provides greater breathability, comfort and freedom of movement, and offers a lighter weight and lower profile than pleated leather (the A-CS®Tech inserts are approximately 9% lighter than the leather inserts). In addition, the suit has pleated leather inserts in the lower back and key flex zones of the suit. A-CS®Tech features good stretch, has an elongation of about 30%, and offers 248% higher tear strength compared to standard racing stretch fibers and 570% higher tear strength than leather. The technologically advanced Racing Absolute v2 suit has performance very comparable to kangaroo leather, with even better abrasion test results. The use of A-CS®Tech represents a remarkable advance and improvement in the protective performance of materials. The Racing Absolute v2 also features Matryx® material on the lower leg for added weight reduction and breathability. The inner arms, crotch, back of the legs, collar and chest area feature Kevlar®-reinforced stretch panels that provide high elasticity for greater freedom of movement and a higher level of protection. The construction of the Racing Absolute v2 features schoeller®-keprotec seam reinforcements at the elbows and knees, external GP-DFS sliders at the shoulders, knees and elbows, the brand new race-ready GP-R PRO CE Level 2 shoulder, elbow, forearm and knee armor and Level 1 Bioflex hip protectors in the racing version. The suit, with its comprehensive technology and protection, sets a new standard for Alpinestars Professional racing apparel. The Racing Absolute v2 is Alpinestars' top of the line MotoGP suit.
