The QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings, which has been tried and tested for many years, can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guidance aid from Fidlock technology. The positioning of the top ring has been significantly improved: the sliding top ring comes already pre-assembled on the tank bag with a guide rail, and the tank bag does not need to be drilled.
This way, the top ring can be custom-aligned onto the guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Once the right position has been found, the top ring is screwed tight. When changing to another motorcycle, the position of the upper ring can be adjusted accordingly.
The magnetic guide, developed by Fidlock, complements the already advanced SW-MOTECH mechanical QUICK-LOCK latching system: the magnets guide the upper ring into the appropriate position on the tank ring and the lock snaps firmly into place. The strength of the magnets supports the positioning of the tank bag. Fasten the tank bag in one simple step and drive off - your luggage is safe with this clever solution.

Schade das sich das System bei meiner KTM Adventure 390 2023 nur "falsch"herum montieren lässt da der Tankverschluss nach vorne öffnet.Bei korrekter Montage lässt sich der Tankdeckel nicht mehr öffnen.Ansonsten ein perfektes Produkt.

Perfect fit
This tank ring fits perfectly. The only caveat is that in order to open the fuel cap, you need to install the tank ring so the open end is facing the handlebars. This also means that any Pro tank bag you use must have the base plate on the bottom of the bag flipped around 180 degrees. If you have two bikes with one tank ring mounted normally such that the open end faces towards the rider, and the other ring mounted the opposite way, you can't easily use the same bags between bikes. Not too big of an issue, but it is worth noting if you plan on using the Pro style tank ring on multiple bikes with the intention of sharing a bag between the bikes. I'm going to see if there is a wat to rotate the opening direction of the tan cap on my KTM which would eliminate this issue. Other than that the quality and precise detail of the fitment to my KTM 390 Adventure is excellent.
