Nice jeans but could be better. Mine had an issue on the hip pocket

Positive aspects: a) Colour and finish — Nice colour overall, even though I would have preferred a non‑“used” black tone. b) Weight — They feel relatively heavy, which I actually see as a good sign, suggesting solid construction and substantial material. c) Interior construction — Partial mesh lining inside. d) Reinforcement — Double layer of PWR Shield at the seat, hips, and knees; as far as I know, it’s the only model in the Rev’It jeans range that includes this. e) Protection level — Class AAA, with Level 1 protectors on hips and knees included (although I would have preferred Level 2). f) Boot compatibility — Despite the tapered fit, I was able to wear them over my tall road boots. The look wasn’t ideal because they were quite tight around the boot area, but I must acknowledge that they did fit over them. Negative aspects: a) Manufacturing origin — Made in the United Arab Emirates, which is always the same disappointing story of not being produced in Europe. b) Used-effect wear — The “used” finishing process seems to have slightly degraded the outer shell. c) Perceived quality in hand — In hand, they don’t feel particularly premium: too many interior and exterior stitching lines waiting to be trimmed, and some panels appear slightly misaligned. d) Fit and cut — The design is overly tapered. I consider my legs and waist fairly regular, yet the taper is excessive while the upper area has too much spare fabric. Dressing and undressing them is unnecessarily difficult due to the lack of a regular fit. e) Hip protector issue — The worst flaw (and truly unacceptable): one hip protector was dramatically twisted. At first, I assumed it was poorly installed, but then I discovered the real problem — a belt loop had been stitched directly onto the protector pocket, leaving no space for the protector to sit correctly. Very poor quality control. Personal conclusion: Because of all this, I ultimately switched to the black Lombard model with its regular fit — even though I’ll miss the PWR Shield at the seat, hips, and knees, the extra “A” rating, and the additional ounce of Cordura denim.
