The Oxford Boss Alarm Chain Lock combines a particularly strong padlock with an integrated alarm function and a robust 12 mm square link chain. The 100 dB alarm is triggered by movement sensors and provides an additional deterrent against theft attempts. If required, the lock can also be engaged without activating the alarm. The padlock features a 14 mm shackle and, according to the supplied manufacturer information, can also be used separately as a disc lock or padlock. Combined with the hardened Ni-Cro-Mo alloy steel chain, it creates a resistant motorcycle security solution. The Boss Alarm Chain Lock has been independently tested and, according to the manufacturer, awarded Sold Secure Powered Cycle Motorcycle Gold and SBSC certification. Insurance discounts may be available in the UK when using this lock. A key replacement service is available if the key number from the metal tag or laser marking has been recorded safely.
