Dainese D-Air Road Shield CO2 Cartridge
The Dainese D-Air® Road Shield CO2 cartridge is the replacement gas generator for Dainese's Smart Air airbag system, which was developed to provide additional safety when riding a motorbike. The cartridge allows the integrated airbag to be quickly and easily restored to working order after use, so you can get back on the road immediately without having to go to an authorised dealer.
Thanks to the Fast Replacement System (FRS), the cartridge can be replaced independently. It contains a mixture of argon and helium gas as well as a pyrotechnic charge, which is responsible for activating the airbag. The D-Air® Road Shield CO2 cartridge supports the system's three-stage airbag activation and ensures that the airbag is reliably triggered in the event of a fall. After three uses, the airbag system must be checked and replaced by authorised personnel.
