Alpinestars Ridge V2 Waterproof Motorcycle Boots

A lightweight Tech Touring boot constructed from a durable and abrasion resistant microfiber, the Ridge v2 Waterproof Boot incorporates a waterproof membrane for optimized levels of comfort, performance and protection.

Features:

  • Waterproof membrane incorporated into an upper constructed from a durable, technical synthetic textile for enhanced durability.
  • Thermowelded lateral side, ankle and toe box for additional durability.
  • Waterproof membrane layer between upper and lining for proven performance in difficult weather conditions.
  • Boot shaping provides long-lasting comfort and incorporates an ergonomic toe box construction for superior feel.
  • Streamlined design features a front bellow with a stitchless construction and textile underneath for lightness, thinness and low weight.
  • Rear bellow on back allows for flex while maintaining the structural rigidity of the boot.
  • Shift pad constructed from a thin but durable real rubber layer glued on for low material volume, a light weight and a slender toe.
  • Dual closure system: adjustable hook and loop with a metal oval ring on the lateral ankle plus a hook and loop flap on the upper for greater adjustability and an optimized fit.
  • Grip detail on upper closure flap for ease of use, even with gloved hands.
  • Reinforcement on shin plate for weight-saving and protection against impacts.
  • Complete ankle protection: Dual density ankle protectors on medial and lateral sides are reinforced with poly-foam padding for protection and comfort.
  • Internal toe box and heel counter protection is layered under the upper for durability, improved feel and performance.
  • Contoured, high modulus midsole follows shape of foot and incorporates a structured shank reinforcement.

Toller kurzer Stiefel

Habe den Ridge V2 nun ein halbes Jahr gefahren und bin begeistert, Stiefel paßt wie angegossen und er ist sehr wohl wasserdicht. Das Material ist kein echtes Leder aber es klimatisiert hervorragend, selbst bei 34 Grad im Schatten ist der Socken noch trocken. Größe ist wie normale Konfektion wenn mann normale Füße hat. Würde im jederzeit wieder kaufen da der Einstieg sehr leicht ist und die Klettverschlüsse super einzustellen sind auf einen guten halt im Schuh.

Enttäuschend

Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich nun bereits das 2. Mal von Alpinestars enttäuscht wurde. Bei Nummer 1 habe ich die Alpinestars GP Pro R2 Handschuhe, welche von ca. 250 € auf 170 € reduziert waren bestellt. Unfassbar steifes Leder und noch schlimmer ist die Plastik Lasche mit der der Handschuh um das Handgelenk am Klett verschlossen wird. Nummer 2 und gerade aktuell sind die Alpinestars Ridge V2 Wasserdichte Motorradstiefel die von 180 € auf 145 € reduziert sind. Schwer wie Blei, hart, unflexibel und drücken sogar noch obwohl ich 2 Nummern größer bestellt habe. Schicke ich umgehend zurück.

Not Waterproof

I purchased these waterproof boots as my old boots were not waterproof. I went on a ride with about 5 hrs being in the rain. When I arrived at my destination I proceeded to pour 1+ cups of water out of each boot. My toes were wet first then the rest of my feet got soaked. They let water in but not out!! They are comfortable though.
