Alpinestars GP Plus V4 Motorcycle Leather Jacket

The race-derived GP Plus V4 sport Leather Jacket is more than just an evolution of the world-renowned V3, it’s a complete revolution. With a revised silhouette, improved material selection, a new modernized look with refined detailing, and a lighter overall weight, the GP Plus V4 Jacket is the perfect choice. The three main differences new to the GP Plus V4 are the use of A-CS™ Plus stretch material, GP-R Lite extended elbow armor, and a new, modernized graphic. A-CS™ Plus stretch material is Alpinestars composite stretch, which is found in the large side panels of the jacket. A MotoGP derived material technology, A-CS™ Plus stretch provides increased stretch, high abrasion resistance, higher tear resistance than leather, plus a lower profile and overall weight – all important features that motorcyclists demand when it comes to increased comfort and performance. Completing the GP Plus V4’s chassis construction is a mix of race bovine and regular bovine leather, with tech stretch material on the chest, shoulders, back of the neck, and inner arms. There are DFS Dynamic Friction Shield external shoulder sliders with Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 armor underneath. Internally, the jacket includes a detachable 80g thermal vest and incorporates long direct opening airflow vents on the abdomen for ventilation and climate management.

How to measure your height:

1 Shoulder width

Measure your shoulder width across your back from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other. Stand upright and let your arms hang relaxed at your sides. Guide the tape measure from shoulder point to shoulder point across the upper back and make sure it does not slip.

2 Chest circumference

Measure your chest circumference at the fullest part of your chest. Run the tape measure horizontally around your upper body under your arms. Make sure the tape stays level and breathe naturally without puffing out your chest.

3 Waist

Measure your waist at the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Stand upright and keep breathing normally while you place the tape measure horizontally around your body. Make sure the tape is not digging in but also not too loose, so you get a realistic measurement.

4 Hips

Measure your hips at the widest part of your buttocks. Stand upright with your feet about hip-width apart and place the tape measure horizontally around your body. Make sure the tape stays at the same height all the way around and does not slip up or down.

5 Arm length

Measure your arm length from the outer shoulder point to your wrist. Let your arm hang naturally and relaxed at your side. Run the tape measure along the outside of your arm down to the wrist.

6 Inseam

Measure your inseam from the crotch down along the inside of your leg to the sole of your foot. Stand upright, ideally without shoes and with your legs slightly apart. Run the tape measure straight down and make sure it does not slip.

7 Outseam

Measure the outside leg length from your hip down the outside of your leg to the sole of your foot. Stand upright and barefoot with your legs naturally straight. Place the tape measure at the side of your hip and run it straight down to the sole. Make sure it stays close to your body and does not slip.

8 Thigh

Measure your thigh at the fullest part. Wrap the tape loosely around your leg without pulling it tight. For an accurate result, stand relaxed and distribute your weight evenly on both legs.

Excellent Quality

Issue 1 - The zip lining does not reach as far as the zip resulting in the zip pressing against my throat. Issue 2 - No back and front protection for a premium price.

Ich nutze die Jacke in Verbindung mit eine Missile 3 Lederhose als 2-Teiler mit Verbindung und bin soweit sehr zufrieden.

well made comfortable just like advertised

I was a little skeptical at first ordering something so far away but was not disappointed .It didn't even take that long and overall I saved 70 bucks Jacket is perfect the fit is just right

Great!

It took over 30 days to arrive. However it came nicely packed and in perfect condition. The jacket is super high quality and comfortable, but for the price I wish Alpinestars would include the back protector. Do not recommend for cold weather as the material is really breathable. Overall I absolutely love the Jacket!!
