The AMT-8 Stretch Drystar®XF jacket is a new development in the Alpinestars Motion Technology (AMT) line, designed specifically for long-distance adventure riding. With its ergonomically optimized ACTIVE fit, it offers outstanding freedom of movement and comfort. Thanks to Hyperflow ventilation and the waterproof Drystar®XF stretch lining, the rider stays dry and cool even in adverse weather conditions. The jacket combines flexibility, protection and high breathability.

How to measure your height:

1 Body height

To determine your exact height, stand on a flat surface without shoes, preferably with your back against a straight wall. Ensure that your head, shoulders and bottom are lightly touching the wall. Use a tape measure or folding rule and measure vertically from the highest point of your head (crown) to the sole of your foot. A second person can help you hold the tape measure straight and read the exact height.

2 Chest circumference

To measure your chest size correctly, place the measuring tape horizontally around your upper body at the fullest part of your chest. Ensure that the tape measure is not too tight and runs parallel to the floor. Breathe in and out normally to obtain a realistic measurement. It may be helpful to take the measurement in front of a mirror or ask a second person for assistance.

3 Waist circumference

The waist circumference is measured at the narrowest point of your torso – usually just above the navel. Ensure that the tape measure is horizontal and fits snugly, but does not cut into the skin. Breathe calmly and maintain a natural posture to obtain an accurate result.

4 Hip circumference

To measure your hip circumference, stand upright and wrap the tape measure horizontally around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Ensure that the tape measure is flat and parallel to the floor. A second person or a mirror can help to take an accurate measurement.

5 Inside leg length

The inside leg length is measured along the inside of the leg from the crotch to the sole of the foot. Stand up straight, preferably barefoot. If possible, ask someone else to help you to obtain a more accurate measurement. A practical method is to measure a pair of trousers that fit well: Lay them flat and measure the inside leg length from the crotch to the bottom hem.

Shame about the import tax, made the jacket super expensive, would've been cheaper and quicker getting the jacket

Great quality and versatility

Love this jacket. It looks great, the armour sits comfortably, and the waterproof liner is impressive with how it can be worn under and over the main jacket. Venting is great. Pocket location is clever and convenient.
