AMT-10 DrystarXF® pants are engineered to deliver the optimal protection level and weather performance in ideal comfort. A new approach in advanced riding all weather protective apparel, these pants utilize a modular construction and the most advanced materials technologies available at Alpinestars and are equipped with Alpinestars new laminated 2L DrystarXF® waterproof and highly breathable membrane for effective all-weather performance. Modular Laminated DrystarXF® membrane provides superior breathability. This membrane incorporates hydrophilic technology where water vapor is absorbed from the body and desorbed on the outside to provide 100% waterproof performance, and is easily packable and fast drying.
The AMT-10 pant features large direct opening vent panels on the thigh for optimized airflow, and these can be rolled into the knee for convenience. The partially converted airflow panel on the thighs maintains all of the protective performance thanks to the lightweight MATRYX® material that delivers exceptional abrasion resistance, tear strength and breathability.
Kevlar® Flynet leather panels located on the inner knees deliver increased tear resistance levels of +80% and improved cut resistance of +25%.
RIDEKNIT® comfort zone strategically positioned behind the knees for enhanced comfort, flexibility and stretch, and a high level of abrasion and tear resistance.
Elasticated back waist accordion incorporating waist volume adjusters for an optimized fit.

How to measure your height:

Waist
Measure your waist at the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Stand upright and keep breathing normally while you place the tape measure horizontally around your body. Make sure the tape is not digging in but also not too loose, so you get a realistic measurement.

Hips
Measure your hips at the widest part of your buttocks. Stand upright with your feet about hip-width apart and place the tape measure horizontally around your body. Make sure the tape stays at the same height all the way around and does not slip up or down.

Inseam
Measure your inseam from the crotch down along the inside of your leg to the sole of your foot. Stand upright, ideally without shoes and with your legs slightly apart. Run the tape measure straight down and make sure it does not slip.

Thigh
Measure your thigh at the fullest part. Wrap the tape loosely around your leg without pulling it tight. For an accurate result, stand relaxed and distribute your weight evenly on both legs.

Sizing is WAY off
I'm a US size 36. Size chart puts me at a Large. I ordered an XL just to be safe. They are WAY too tight to even put on . I'm not even sure that an XXL will fit properly. Not sure who designed this sizing, but for other Alpinestars and Dainese gear they all fit true to size, these aren't even in the ballpark. They feel nice but with the sizing issues I recommend buying these in person. Lets see how FC-MOTO return process is..

A true waterproof pant
I was in the look out for a AA rated riding pants which is waterproof as well. Considered many Goretex and other pants, but the tropical climate we have wanted me to check out a pant that has very good ventilation as well. I have used this for a 1500km road trip and experienced temperature upto 42 degree Celsius and 2 hours of continuous rain. I must stay it served me pretty well. The sizing is true to the size chart, armors are good and you will feel the quality
