How to measure your height:

Foot length
Measure your foot length from the heel to the tip of your longest toe. Stand barefoot on a sheet of paper and distribute your weight evenly. Mark the very back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe, then measure the distance between those two points. Make sure you are standing straight, because the foot expands slightly under weight.

Es ist mir ein Rätsel....
Tja, wie fange ich an? Auch wenn mir tendeziell Alpinestars von der Stiefelform besser passen, bin ich nach zwei enttäuschenden Paaren Tech 7 drystar (2022er sowie 2026er Modellgeneration) aufgrund Undichtigkeit zu Sidi gewechselt. Vorweg: die X-Power WP Enduro sind ein klasse Paar Stiefel und machen einen wertigen Eindruck. Robuster Look ohne zuviel Styleffekte kommt dazu. Sicher habe ich mich auf meiner TET-Tour darin auch gefühlt. Genau wie die meisten Sportschuhe und Motorradstiefel eine Nummer größer wählen, dann sollte es passen. Im Gegensatz zu den Crossfires auch nicht ganz so eng.
Jetzt aber das große ABER: nach einer ausgedehnten Regenfahrt komplett undicht im Vorderfußbereich. Im Gegensatz zu den drystars brauchen sie dann auch richtig lange zu trocknen. Momentan warte ich noch auf eine Erklärung bzw. einen Austausch seitens SIDI über FC-Moto, aber das dauert nun auch schon etwas an(...) Gerne passe ich danach meine Bewertung noch entsprechend an.
Zu meiner Überschrift: warum erfahrene Hersteller zwar original GTX Membrane einwandfrei in Stiefeln (e.g. AS Toucan, Sidi Adventure 2 GTX,) verarbeiten können und diese jahrelang halten, es aber mit den hauseigenen(?Sidi macht da keine Angabe) Membranen nach wie vor durch die verschiedensten Iterationen nicht funktioniert, bzw. die QC nicht vernünftige Membrane einführt, ist mir auch marktwirtschaftlich für diese Hersteller ein Rätsel. Letztlich ist es auf einen langen Tour aber insbesondere für den Kunden aber nur ärgerlich und letztlich stirbt das Vertrauen in diese Produkte.
