Paramount GTX is a one-piece motorcycle suit that provides comfort and protection for commuting or adventure touring in any season. This fully waterproof suit features the proven 3L GORE-TEX laminate. The Paramount GTX is easy to put on and take off, and is equipped for this purpose with a long entry zipper that extends from the lower leg to the neck. On the sides, arms and legs are numerous adjustment straps with which you can adjust the suit perfectly to your body. In high temperatures, VCS|Ventilation zippers on the upper and lower arms keep the wind flowing to your body, while our patented VCS|Aquadefence inserts on the chest and thighs cool the upper and lower body. An air exhaust zipper at the back allows warm air to escape. In addition to its already impressive features, the Paramount GTX is equipped with Level-2 approved SEEFLEX protectors. These protectors are adjustable for optimal fit at the shoulder, elbow and knee. Injury protection gets a boost from the SEESOFT Level 2 back protector and SEESMART Level 1 protectors on the hips. In case the weather gets really bad, the Paramount GTX has a storm collar that is very quickly attached and removed. Everything you need in a truly complete package. Ich möchte diesen Einteiler zum Pendeln zur Arbeit in den Herbst- und Wintermonaten nutzen. Dafür sollte er durch die recht einfache Handhabung und das einzig wirklich dauerhaft wasserdichte 3-lagige GoreTex Pro Laminat gut geeignet sein. Der Preis erscheint zunächst etwas hoch, relativiert sich aber, wenn man den Paramount GTX mit Mitbewerbern wie den Aerostitch R3 vergleicht. Ein zweiteiliger Anzug aus 3-lagigem GoreTex Laminat würde zudem in der Regel noch höher im Preis ausfallen.
Kritikwürdig erachte ich den etwas seltsamen Zuschnitt. Ich habe die Größe des Paramount GTX für mich (1,90m 105 kg) aufgrund der Größentabelle auf XXL bestimmt. Längenmäßig passt auch alles. Aber während der Anzug am gesamten Oberkörper schon fast zu eng ist, wird er unterhalb der Gürtellinie sackartig weit. Das sieht nicht nur ziemlich seltsam aus, sondern trägt sich auch unangenehm. Das hätte man auch anders lösen können.
Ansonsten ist der Paramount GTX ein solider hochwertiger Anzug. Nur beim Aufhängen in der Bürogarderobe nimmt er etwas viel Platz weg ;-)
