Measure your shoulder width across your back from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other. Stand upright and let your arms hang relaxed at your sides. Guide the tape measure from shoulder point to shoulder point across the upper back and make sure it does not slip.

Chest circumference
Measure your chest circumference at the fullest part of your chest. Run the tape measure horizontally around your upper body under your arms. Make sure the tape stays level and breathe naturally without puffing out your chest.

Waist
Measure your waist at the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Stand upright and keep breathing normally while you place the tape measure horizontally around your body. Make sure the tape is not digging in but also not too loose, so you get a realistic measurement.

Hips
Measure your hips at the widest part of your buttocks. Stand upright with your feet about hip-width apart and place the tape measure horizontally around your body. Make sure the tape stays at the same height all the way around and does not slip up or down.

Arm length
Measure your arm length from the outer shoulder point to your wrist. Let your arm hang naturally and relaxed at your side. Run the tape measure along the outside of your arm down to the wrist.

An sich schöne Jacke mit zwei vermeidbaren Schwächen
Die Größe der Jacke passt tatsächlich gut zur Größentabelle, ich habe mich an Brust- und Bauchumfang orientiert. Material und Verarbeitung machen einen sehr guten Eindruck, auch die Lederapplikationen gefallen mir. Die Frage ist, ob es sich tatsächlich um Leder handelt, da im Etikett "Outer Shell 100% Polyester" steht, aber das wäre für mich kein Problem. Ich hätte die Jacke sehr gerne behalten, schicke sie aber aus 2 anderen Gründen zurück:
1. Der Kragen ist nicht wie bei einer Adventure-Jacke geschnitten, sondern eher wie eine Sportjacke. Guten Regenschutz bietet das leider nicht. Bei meiner letzten längeren Tour habe ich den Unterschied zwischen Sport- und richtigem Kragen bei Regen leider wieder erfahren, den niedrigen Kragen brauche ich nicht an einer Adventure-Jacke.
2. Mit ist schleierfhaft, aus welchen Gründen der Hersteller in eine Herrenjacke der Größe XL Protektoren in der Kindergröße A einbaut. Die Schulterprotektoren sind kleiner als meine Hand. Ob Level 1 oder 2 ist mir egal, nur so nicht winzig dürfen sie sein. Die Protektorentaschen sind leider passend klein, so dass sich keine Protektoren der Größe B umrüsten lassen. Für die Zertifizierung reichen die kleinen Protektoren vielleicht, für die Praxis fühlen sie sich zu klein an. Das ist leider am falschen Ende gespart.
