Main upper material constructed using microfiber for optimum abrasion resistance, while also delivering high levels of flexibility.
New front flex area for improved impact abrasion while also ensuring the natural front and back.
New front flex area increases ventilation and airflow for additional breathability.
Redesigned rear bellow in stretch microfiber for improved natural front and back movement.
Redesigned top gaiter in microfiber material with TPU over injection for enhanced prehensility.
New synthetic microfiber panel on medial side for enhanced abrasion resistance and improved feeling when in contact with the bike.
New TPU shifter for increased protection on lower medial side.
New TPU shin plate has been redesigned for greater impact absorption performance, thus improving abrasion resistance in a key area.

Probably the best and safest boot for track and street racing. It’s really comfortable and well built. The safety features are best in class. I don’t know if a better boot exists at the moment. You cannot beat Astars

Bad fit
Boots were half size too big yet I could not zip them. It's seams like they are very narrow at the foot arch, maybe due to the inner boot. Also I was surprised how bulky and heavy they are foe the racing boot. I would have to adjust my gear lever just to get the boot under. The look really nice so very disappointed I had to send them back. Have the same size smx 6 v2 boots and they fit perfect so was very confident those will fit too.
