I bought this for mountain biking. I wanted a little bit lighter level 1 protector vest. Not something with hard plates. Protective inserts seems good and comfortable and are easy to take of if you want to wash the vest. Only sizing is a bit strange. I´m 165/67 and normally I wear size s or m, but on this product size large fits best to me. So if you are buying this vest take one or two size bigger than you normally would.
