Der Spartan RS erfüllt als erster Shark-Helm dieser neuen Generation die ECE 22.06 Norm. Er ist mit dem extrem widerstandsfähigen Visier VZ 300 in optischen Qualität der Klasse 1 ausgestattet, das sich schon beim Spartan GT bewährt hat. Darüber hinaus wurde bei der Entwicklung auch großen Wert auf die Optimierung der aerodynamischen Eigenschaften gelegt. So werden Luftwiderstand, die Fahrgeräusche bei mittleren und hohen Geschwindigkeiten sowie der Buffeting-Effekt reduziert.
