Zatímco původní MA-1 byl navržen k ochraně pilotů před drsnými podmínkami chladných klimatických zón, model TT byl koncipován s pravým opakem: jeho lehká nylonová konstrukce a absence polstrování podporují prodyšnost, přičemž zachovávají vynikající kvalitu a všestrannost, kterou od Alpha očekáváte.
MA-1 TT je vzhledově podobný MA-1 (navíc má ikonický červený letový štítek a krabičku na tužky na levém rukávu), ale ve skutečnosti má užší střih, který lépe sedí k tělu. Protože je to letní bunda, byla navržena tak, aby uvolnila místo na košili.
