Helite e-Turtle Airbag Vest

Helite presents the new electronic airbag vest. A brand new technology for maximum protection on the road. A true revolution in protection and fall detection!

The electronic airbag vest uses a multi-sensor detection that allows a complete analysis of the situation and a complete 360° protection. For the complete and optimal Full Protection, it is strongly recommended to install a second sensor (SDU) on the fork of the motorcycle. This option allows to reduce the detection time from 60 ms (only by sensors in the vests) to 31 ms even at standstill, low speed and regardless of the impact angle.

based on the Turtle 2.0 airbag vest
mechanical release unit has been replaced by an electronic one
contains Turtle 2.0 and high-quality SAS-Tec back protector (is attached like a turtle shell over the airbag)
punctual loads in the back area are effectively distributed and absorbed by the entire airbag
Protection is many times higher than with a standard airbag
Turtle airbag systems show technological advantage especially in impacts against pointed and sharp-edged objects (e.g. guardrail, branch or motorcycle part)
When triggered, system has optimum pressure after 80-100 milliseconds (depending on size) to provide full protection
17-28 liters (depending on size) of protective volume provide protection for neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone and internal organs
by simply replacing the e-cartridge, the vest is immediately ready for use again after a deployment (provided there is no external damage)

Manufacturer's Note:

SAS-Tec back protector (EN1621-2), in combination with the shock-absorbing air cushion, provides optimal impact absorption and protection against punctures.
Very high abrasion resistance due to 600D textile material to protect the airbag chamber.
