MAB v4 is the new airbag system for motorcyclists that is worn over the existing jacket. Each MAB size has a large adjustment range to ensure the perfect comfort. MAB v4 is mechanically triggered by Fast Lock technology (patented). Fast Lock works like a special safety winder that connects to an included D-ring belt. The activation force is 15 kg, so the rider cannot forget to release Fast Lock before removing it from the motorcycle (a special MOTOAIRBAG reminder ensures that it is not activated unintentionally). Fast Lock makes the motorcyclist completely free in his movements. It also allows free riding in standing position or off-road, for example. In the event of an accident, the winder locks like a seat belt and deploys the airbag. Fast Lock detaches from the MAB and remains on the motorcycle. The motorcyclist is never restrained on the motorcycle. Fast Lock has a 360° 'detection radar' and responds in 5 milliseconds. The inflation time is 85 milliseconds. The total volume of the airbag is 25 liters. The system is always active and requires no maintenance (first inspection after 4 years) and no electrical power. MAB has two airbag systems and Fast Lock manages both. Once activated, MAB can be recharged by the end user (checklist required - see manual). This model has removable sleeves that make the jacket a vest.

Very highly.
I'm in western canada and it has been very hot here already 35c and similar. Jacket breaths well and is comfortable to where over long rides. No fear of it being set off accidently. Quality is good. Worth the money. Shipping was quick and no us tarrifs

sehr gutes Produkt, aber teuer
Habe mich bewußt für eine mechanische Auslösung entschieden. Die Lösung mit dem Fastlock finde ich super. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr gut. Hat aber seinen Preis.

Best in its category
Excellent product, best coverage system with the large back and front bags, very versatile because of the removable sleeves, easy to use. Very comfy, the vest is a bit heavy compared to other similar solutions but you quickly forget it immediately after wearing it. I'm 175cm, 74Kg, the recommended size was L/XL but was a bit too large so i happily replaced it with the smaller one S/M

Absolutely great!
I bought it mainly for street use, but got to test it on the track. I fell on a fairly slow left hand corner and it opened before I was down. I didn't even get a scratch! I am 185cm 92kg and got the XXL/XXXL size. I need to pull the adjustment straps fully to make it fit, but it fits well. Recommended!

Do not buy in North America
The jacket is useless because they cannot ship the charge cannisters here. Bout the jacket as a present for my dad only to find out it arrived useless...
