The second generation of the popular Edale waxed cotton motorbike jacket is here. In addition to the best features of the first generation of technical waxed cotton, this new jacket incorporates improvements that have resulted from years of consumer testing around the world. The 8 oz Cotec fabric from Halley Stevensons®-Merlin remains exclusive to Merlin and is half the weight but twice the durability of our traditional waxed cotton. Edale II utilises temperature regulating Outlast® technology for the thermal lining, which can be removed if required, and the garment is even more breathable thanks to an improved Humax waterproof membrane. Other improvements include the fit, the fastenings, the positioning of the protectors, the waterproof outer pockets, the trims and the accessories for even more refined motorbike clothing.

Stylisch und warm
Eine schöne und warme Retrolook Jacke. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität und auch der Variationsmöglichkeiten. Sie ist schon kein Leichtgewicht, aber das stört mich nicht.
Alles wurde schnell geliefert, also auch da ein herzliches Danke an das Team.

Zit als gegoten
Superblij met deze jas. Is mooi afgewerkt en comfortabel. De maatvoering komt overeen met wat ik normaal draag.

very well done for the price
Very good jacket for the money - comparable to the more popular Belstaff Crosby in terms of quality at a fraction of the cost, in my view better features. It's extremely well done and designed in many small details, am 181 cm high, 110 Kg, 2xl fitting for me (without my big belly probably a XL was better). The jacket is coming with back protector as well (in the description the back protector was not included, only shoulder and elbow). The 8oz cotton seems ok for temperature up to 18-20 degrees, sinilar to another jacket am using. I tried other models from Merlin with the 12oz waxed and they are much heavier mostly for cooler temperatures. Very happy about it.
