The i71 sets a new standard for a sport-touring model with its new slim shell design. Made of advanced polycarbonate, the helmet now has 3 outer shells and 6 available sizes to optimize weight and comfort for the rider. The repositioned upper vent and enlarged chin vent allow for improved airflow and ventilation. Also new to the i71 are the visor and sun visor. The HJ-38 Pinlock visor features a new push-slide closure system that provides increased security, yet is easy to operate even when wearing gloves. The new sun visor (HJ-V12) offers the rider the ability to adjust the sun visor forward in 3 positions (up to 10mm) to provide ideal sun visor protection. The i71 is also compatible with the second generation Smart HJC Bluetooth systems.

Grundsolider Helm...
...ohne wirkliche Schwächen oder Stärken.
Nach knapp 6 Jahren und einem Sturz benötigte ich einen neuen Helm und entschied mich für den HJC i71.
Grundsätzlich sollte man immer etwas vorsichtig sein, wenn Hersteller ihre Produkte mit Superlativen bewerben, wie in diesem Fall, wenn der i71 als "leisester Helm" bezeichnet wird.
Ich kann nach einigen Ausfahrten (allerdings nur Kurzstrecken) bestätigen dass er leise ist.
Wie er sich auf Langstrecken und meiner geplanten Tour schlägt , bleibt noch abzuwarten.
Was mich nach meinem persönlichen Empfinden etwas stört, ist der zu filigrane Visierverschluss, der mit dicken Handschuhen etwas schwierig zu bedienen ist.

Sehr guter Helm in dieser Preisklasse
War für die Sozia gedacht, drückte bei ihr in der Anprobe leider nach 20min. am Hinterkopf, was sich auch bei längerer Tragezeit nicht gebessert hat, aber wohl leider der Kopfform der Sozia geschuldet, bei mir selbst hätte er gepasst, ich war allerdings bereits versorgt. Ansonsten macht der Helm aber einen sehr guten Eindruck und passt an den Seiten und am Vorderkopf bestens, auch an Visier/Raster nichts zu bemängeln, Tests in Fachzeitschriften waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Entscheidung fiel aufgrund des beschriebenen Problems für den Nolan N60-6 in der gleichen Größe, heir trat bei der Sozia kein Problem am Hinterkopf auf.

Schön leise
Vorteile: Leise
Nachteile: Viesiereinstellungsstufen zu grob. Das Visier nur ein wenig zu öffnen geht nicht.
Den Helm gekauft weil er im Test eine besonders gute Lüftung hat. Schön im Sommer.
Ich würde ihn aber trotzdem nicht nochmal kaufen.

Top Helm zum top Preis
Sehr gute Ausstattung zum sehr guten Preis. Passform (bei mir) perfekt. Belüftung könnte noch etwas besser regulierbar sein, aber für diese Preisklasse absolut ausreichend.
Kann locker mit teureren Helmen mithalten.
Schon mein dritter HJC-Helm und es wird nicht der letzte sein.
