Description

A highly comfortable, lightweight and contemporary street-styled shoe that features an ergonomic MX-derived ankle guard for protection in key areas, the J-6 is constructed from full grain leather and suede while incorporating a 100 per cent waterproof membrane for excellent levels of weather-proofing.

  • Lightweight, street-styled upper combining full grain leather and suede for optimized comfort, durability and look.
  • Waterproof membrane subtly built into chassis for 100 per cent performance against wet penetration.
  • Top tongue and collar constructed from leather for enhanced comfort, durability and luxurious feel.
  • Metal eyelet lacing closure on instep for easy, secure and comfortable fit.
  • Dual density and ergonomic MX-derived ankle and heel protector is applied between the upper and padded lining to provide all-round strategic protection and flexibility in key areas.

Comfy and Light

Sizing is true to size and was measured using the official alpinestars size chart. I wear alpinestars boots 46 and same for these shoes.

Klasse Schuh, den man auch in der Freizeit tragen kann

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Schuh. Deutlich flexibler als meine Enduro Stiefel. Leider nicht sehr atmungsaktiv, das sollte man bei einem wasserdichten Schuh bedenken.

Mit Einschränkungen zu gebrauchen

Ich konnte die Schuhe bei einer 4500 Kilometer Tour über drei Wochen lang testen. Vorab, die Schuhe machen einen wertigen und stabilen Eindruck, diesbezüglich fühlt man sich wohl. Manko ist die Sohle, die zum Teil, je nach Untergrund, relativ rutschig sein kann. Das führte beim Laufen mit den Schuhen aber auch an Haltepunkten an Hängen und Bergen, gelegentlich zu einem unsicheren Gefühl. Wie Regendicht die Schuhe sind, kann ich nicht gut beurteilen, da das Wasser bei einem Wolkenbruch von der Hose in die Schuhe läuft. Wenn die Hose also nicht unter dem Schaft abschließt und diese dazu noch Wasserdicht ist, nutzt die Wasserdichtigkeit relativ wenig. Gekauft hatte ich den Schuh für eine Tour im Juni. Hier war der Schuh oftmals viel zu warm und nicht gut von der Atmungsaktivität. Man neigt sehr schnell zu starkem schwitzen in den Schuhen, sobald sich die Temperatur über die 23/24 Grad bewegen.. Die Grundidee ist OK, aber durch meine Erfahrungen auf der Tour würde ich die Schuhe kein zweites Mal für eine längere Tour in den Sommermonaten auswählen.
