Troy Lee Designs D4 MIPS Composite Volt Downhill Helmet

Many helmets claim to be the icon, the legend, the undisputed champion - but there is only one truth. The Daytona, D2 and D3 helmet series changed the entire state of affairs and redefined the combination of technology, safety and artistic design. This idea is reborn with the introduction of the D4 Carbon and Composite and will change everything once again.

Features:

  • Aerospace-grade fibreglass outer shell
  • Equipped with the MIPS® Brain Protection System - a low friction layer integrated into the helmet that reduces rotational movement on the brain in the event of an angled impact on the head
  • Ventilation channels and head padding work in unison to promote airflow through the helmet
  • Extended EPS layer on the lower edge of the helmet
  • innovative breakaway helmet shield screws
  • Preformed polycarbonate around vents and exposed EPS increase strength and durability
  • Washable XT2 3D cheek pads and X-Static/XT2 head pads with quick release fasteners
