The ambitious Speedstar is the new Suomy intuition that, with more than 20 years of experience in competitions, is offering a new concept of a versatile sports helmet. Frequent wind tunnel sessions, tested as a racing helmet, allowed to create dynamic shapes, a powerful aerodynamic coefficient and an enviable overall balancing. The R&D, Design and Riding Test department, created a package of solutions that enhance comfort, versatility with breathable technical fabrics, D-Ring chin strap and balanced fitting suitable for any type of riding. The new injection visor in Optical Class 1 and variable thickness, with Pinlock Max Vision, ensures the best visibility from several driving angles; the inedited Wide-Sunvisor extends to the cheek pads borders offering a full protection from the sunlight.

produced in two shell sizes

thermoformed wide vision shield (optical class 1)
internal sunvisor (easily practicable from outside)
front air intake (the flow of incoming air in the upper front part of the helmet may be regulated by adjusting the middle part of the air intake)
rear airvents (the innovative rear air intake has been designed to further improve ventilation inside the helmet, using residual air flows that, again thanks to the Venturi effect, are able to generate a depression in the lower part of the helmet, in this way ensuring a substantial extraction of the hot air inside it, consequently maintaining a comfortable temperature)
side air intakes (the fixed air intakes on the sides allow extraction of air inside the helmet through the Venturi effect)
the particular shape is also able to reduce turbulence to a minimum and limit the possibility of the helmet shaking
double spoiler has been studied to reduce the helmet vibration
fed by inside air ventilation and using the Venturi effect, they optimize the internal ventilation
D-ring retention system studied and patented by Suomy - it has been studied by milions of end users and it is the best system in the world

Sehr bequemer und leicht aufzusetzender Helm. Mein leisester Helm seit ich Motorrad fahre (aktuell auf Speed Triple und RnineT). Sehr geringe Windgeräusche. Fällt eher etwa groß aus. Die Probleme mit dem Helmverschluss habe ich nicht. Doppel D Ring typisc

Preis/Leistung top.
Suomy ist mit den speedstar ein super Helm gelungen.
Passform, Tragekomfort, Sichtfeld, Geräuschentwicklung und Bedienbarkeit sind erstklassig. Ich kann den Helm in allen Punkten nur empfehlen.
